Проплатил пробную покупку на dealextreme.com на 7$, заплатил еще около доллара за трекинг посылки. 23.02.2010 посылка покинунула гонконгскую почту. До сих пор на www.russianpost.ru итем по международному почтовому идентификатору RT*********HK не отслеживается. Это нормально ? Могут ли отправления с dealextreme малой стоимости трекаться в гонконге и не прослеживаться в России ? В инете читал, что отправления на russianpost начинают отслеживаться через 3-4 дня после отправки с гонконга...

Между отходом из Гонконга и появлением на почте России с нового года стало получатся 15-20 дней,так что ждите.

У меня 3 февраля 2 посылки стартанули, обычная Air Mail обогнала заказное на 4 дня!

Слава Созвездие (CJIABA)

 

Some time in the late 1990s, representatives of a possibly Chinese or Hong Kong company approached the 2nd Moscow Watch Factory, makers of the well-known ‘Slava’ watches, with a request to use the Slava name. In order to keep the products distinct, the brand name СЛАВА (Slava) was to be written in a different style, with an additional name Созвездие (Sozvezdie) beneath it. The factory agreed to licence the name. It is rumoured that the factory director at the time had shares in the company making the application. Since that time, permission has been withdrawn, but the watches continue to be made and sold in Russia. Attempts by the current owners of the Slava brand to suppress the use of Слава Созвездие have so far been unsuccessful. Although the watches are marked 'Made in Russia' they contain no Russian content.

 

In 2006, Слава Созвездие watches first appeared in quantity on eBay, causing some confusion amongst enthusiasts of Russian watches. The 2nd Moscow Watch Factory had recently been closed and demand was strong for the last remaining pre-closure production. Adding to the confusion, for a brief period between the factory closure and the establishment of a new Slava assembly facility, the owners had ordered a small range of watches made entirely in China and bearing the authentic СЛАВА brand. Although these watches were of much higher quality than Слава Созвездие, they created the false impression that any Chinese-sourced watch with the Слава name was legitimate. Since the new site was established, genuine Russian Slava watches have continued to be assembled using Slava movements built from residual parts stocks. There are no plans to resume movement manufacturing, and no indications of what kind of watches will bear the authentic СЛАВА name in the future.

 

The first Слава Созвездие watches to hit the international market generally featured the hand-winding Chinese Standard movement in a variety of case styles. Movement manufacturer’s marks varied even between watches of the same series, indicating that these watches were being made from parts sourced as cheaply as possible. Later watches featured the diminutive Hangzhou ‘Xihu’ movement, both hand-winding and automatic versions, as well as triple-calendar version of the Sea-Gull ST6. Most recently Слава Созвездие have tended to use the Dixmont-Guangzhou DG28. It is likely that the owners of the brand are not actually manufacturers but simply order stock from the catalogues of OEM companies.

 

In on-line discussions of Слава Созвездие are often referred to as CJIABA, with the Л formed by J and I, as typed on a Roman keyboard.
